When fall comes and leaves fall, we reach for a warmer blanket and mittens to protect our hands and it seems only natural to want an evening by a fireplace with a cup of tee. Me, yes, I'm that person one hundred percent, but one other thing I love in the cold season is ice cream. And I think I'm not the only one. I have been noticing people munching on cones of ice cream right next to me when waiting for train, wandering through the city or frantically running to the next bus stop to not to be late. And not to mention people at restaurants and on Instagram. So, of course, I'm taking my ice cream addiction further and instead of really summery tastes I'm trying out something more subtle and searching for recipes that can be executed in an instant. So far, blending fruits has been fun, now I'm experimenting with some Christmas tastes like cinnamon and apples, so stay tuned.

PS Strabanana? Strawberry and banana.

LV - Nepieciešams:
2 sasaldēti banāni
200 gr sasaldētas zemenes

1. Banāns sasalst aptuveni no vienas līdz divām stundām, bet var tikt sasaldēts arī pāris dienas iepriekš, lai būtu gatavs improvizētam saldējumu vakaram.
2. Blenderī sablenderē zemenes un tad peivieno banānus. Sablenderē visu kopā.
3. Et voila! Saldējums gatavs!

PS Var pievienot vaniļas ekstraktu, medu vai pat kanēli izteiktākai garšai. Un saldējumu var baudīt uzreiz vai uzglabāt vēl pāris dienas.

EN - You will need:
2 frozen bananas
200 gr of frozen strawberries

1. Banana can be frozen in 1-2 hours, or it can sit in the freezer for few days in advance for an impromptu ice cream making session.
2. Blend in a blender strawberries and the add banana. Blend together.
3. Et voila!

PS You can add vanilla extract, honey or even cinnamon for a more intense taste. Also, ice cream can be eaten right away, or stored for few days.
