Uzsākot ceļu uz Toskānas sirdi, devos turp neko negaidot. Neapskatīju ne vienu grāmatu, pat mājaslapu ne, tādējādi saglabājot noslēpumainību. Bet Florence, ak dārgā Florence.. Tu atstāji mani bez elpas, Tavas mazās tukšās ieliņas, smaidīgās itāļu sejas un maģiskie skati uz katra stūra lika man Tevi iemīlēt. Visu laiku mani pavadīja sajūta, ka no durvīm tūlīt iznāks kāds Mediči ģimenes pārstāvis vai viens knipis un es nokļūšu Renesanses laika Itālijā. Šis ir pirmais raksts no Itālijas (un ne pēdējais!), cerībā paildzināt atmiņas par Itāliju un saglabāt to īpašo sajūtu. Ceru, ka spēšu jūs iedvesmot rezervēt biļetes, ja ne uz Florenci, tad Itāliju noteikti! :)

Having not read any travelling blog, book or site, I traveled to heart of Tuscany with no expectations. It kept the mystery alive. But oh dear Florence.. Oh, Florence, you blew my mind away being full of little tourist free streets, smiling Italian faces and magic views on every corner. I had a feeling, like one of the Medici's will pop out of the door at any moment or  that I am going to be sucked right back to the Renaissance. This is my first outfit post from Italy (and not the last!) that will help me prolong the memories of my travels and keep that feeling alive. And I hope the little snippets of the city in between will make you to book those plain tickets to Italy asap!
