When summer is on it's end and summery days start to mix with those rainy and gloomy days, you suddenly have an urge to have something warm and comforting on your plate instead of your fruit or veggie salad. The urge grows and you know, you want spaghetti. Spaghetti with classic tomato sauce (and tomato season is in full bloom!), yum.

Tā ir viegla tomātu mērces recepte, kuras pagatavošanā tiek izmantoti tikai svaigi tomāti. Tās pagatavošana aizņems aptuveni 30 minūtes.

Nepieciešams:
1 kg tomātu
1 liela sauja bazilika
4 ķiploku daiviņas
1 tjk sāls
1 tjk piparu
olīveļļa

1. Sāc gatavot spagetti.
Pievieno ķiploku daiviņas to ādās.
5. Liek spagetti traukā un pievieno tomātu mērci. Labu apetīti!

So this is an easy tomato sauce using ONLY fresh tomatoes and basil. It takes around 30 minutes to make it, but that's because tomatoes will sit in your oven for 25 minutes.

You will need:
1 kg tomatoes
1 cup basil
4 garlic cloves
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
olive oil for sprinkling

1. Start making spaghetti.
2. Slice tomatoes and put them on plate, which is covered with baking sheet. Add the garlic cloves with their skins.
3. Sprinkle tomatoes with salt, pepper and oil. Put in heated (200C) oven for 25 minutes.
4. Take tomatoes out of the oven, and let them cool for 3-4 minutes. After that transfer tomatoes and garlic cloves (this time take of the skins) to blender, add garlic and blend until you reach desired consistency.
5. Put spaghetti in bowl, cover with tomato sauce and eat!
