Ņemot vērā, ka pirmo reizi savā mūžā cepot  rabarberu plātsmaizi, sadedzināju to (es zinu, tā ir pati vienkāršākā lieta!), nolēmu, ka jādara ka cits. Protams, Četras Sezonas atkal bija pacentušās ar lielisku rabarberu mafinu recepti, paldies un iesaku jums!

The summer finally is here, so are the rhubarbs from grandmas garden. I decided to bake some heavenly rhubarb muffins, because silly me managed to burn the most simple rhubarb pie recipe previously. On Latvian site Four Seasons, I found amazing rhubarb muffin recipe.

###

If you compared pictures, you can notice that my muffins look differently. First of all I didn't use almond chips, second, I used regular milk instead of oats milk and, third, I used lemon oil instead of regular oil, that gave the fresh lemony taste to the muffins. And I added some cherries as a surprise. So here are the ingredients:

100 g chopped rhubarbs
10 g sugar
225 g wheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
a bit of salt
100 g sugar
2 eggs
180 ml milk
70 ml lemon oil
cherries (optional)

1. Mix rhubarbs with 10 grams of sugar.
2. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, sugar
3. In other bowl mix eggs, milk and oil.
4. Mix both mixtures together and add rhubarbs, but before strain them.
5. Put in baking molds and bake for 25 minutes in 190 degrees Celsius.
