The hardest part of the year is trough, so I'm back! And I think that I'm not going anywhere, I promise. These are my new babies. You know the feeling when you want to wear something everyday anytime? Well, this is the case. I jus can't stop loving them and asos for creating such an amazing shoe, so thanks!

A quick post about what I was wearing on weekend when I met up with my friend. Don't let the sun fool you. It was really cold so I opted for a warm jumper instead of coat. LOVE the falling leaves! And it's my birthday after 2 days on September 28th. Can't wait! Have a sunny autumn while I'm hoping not to drawn in school works!

I can't stand this time of year when you can't believe forecasts, because weather changes every day and you have to wear something in what you won't freeze to death or boil and become red like a lobster. This is the hardest task in my life right now! Ok, I'm joking. It's not near the hardest task!
Going to incorporate as much knits as I can in my wardrobe. And of course leave some summer in for a while. Got some new winter coats, really want to bring them in sun light! Winter, I''m oh so waiting you!

This was not just a normal first day of school. It was my last first day of school! And what made it more special was the fact that our school, the school I go to, was visited by the president of our country. And it actually was a pretty busy day for me, as I got to drive around (gosh, how I love to be behind the wheel!) to get some last pieces for our walk-in closet and finally I signed up for driving school to get my driver’s licence (after a month or so I gonna drive around without my parents, yey!).
Really love this lime green coat/jacket! The sleeves, the golden thread in it, well, everything about it is amazing!

Spent the day with dad. So we decided to go somewhere where you can find a beautiful scenery with some people made stuff. That's the place we found. Found this jacket in my moms closet, which means - it's vintage! Really love the cut, the buttons and everything else! The best thing! I have one in blue too now! Seems like my collection of blazers is getting bigger and bigger! Paired it with black, as always, and some gold accessories.

Again the river. Predictable me! Well, but this should be the part one, actually. The previous day, when we rediscovered this beautiful place and the idea off 5 am photos shoot was born.
By the way, we got there on bikes! It was really fast down hill, but not so fast up hill, as you can predict.

This is not a usual outfit post. Just something we did with my friend. By the way, it's shot at 5 am, what an early morning it was (late evening/night for me)! I keep remembering how scared we were from forest animals, at least I was. I just kept talking and talking on the way there to scare animals off. But I'm happy with what we got there, so it paid off! The best part of this - memories!
Just love the fog!

Have been very busy. Who knew that building a walk-in closet would take so much time? And great amount of my time takes my new photo course I have been taking. And yeah, I'm just taking in the summer while it's here! I finally found cute black flats, but unluckily I broke them in first two days, as it always happens with all my black flats. That's so strange!

THE sun is here!
Lately have been watching Rachel Zoe Project. Really like that show. All that drama and clothes/shoes/accessories draw me in. So there's no way I won't wear a fur after watching that show for few days, yeah, I'm so obsessed.
Spent the day with one of my best friends. We watched Super8, drank tasty cocktails, ate really yummy food and just talked. It was so needed girl time.

Yesterday was a busy day. I met up with my aunt, to spend some quality time with her. And after that I went shopping with my mother. And this time shopping meant shopping for garden. Thats right, we bought more plants for our garden, since the old ones froze during winter. I actually enjoy plant shopping very much, because it's very inspiring. Seeing how colors play in greenery's that they have created there makes me think of new outfits and color combinations.
So, for the outfit I chose another blazer, because it was so cold. I even had to use one of my scarfs, otherwise I would have frozen, but that added some accent. I wore it with my black pants rolled up, because they are a bit short when I wear them with heels. Oh yes, later on the day I opted for flats, I can't imagine me walking on sand with heels(those asos wedges I adore so much).

Is it so hot in Africa too (+38C)? I mean it wouldn't be bad to live there, but come on. I don't want to wear those silly waist clothes all the time. Where's the fun?
Exactly for that reason I live here in Europe where you can enjoy cold winters and warm (but not hot!!) summers. So dear global warming, cut us a break!
In times like this, where you are literally dying from high temperatures, I love to wear flowy summer dresses, because you feel every wind breeze and nice fabric that touches your skin.
What do you wear on hot days like these?

Today was a busy, busy day. I went to city with my mom to get some things done and to get everything we need for our calm life on suburb. I actually have to say that I love the silence throughout the day and night, beautiful landscapes and friendliest, sometimes even weirdest, neighbors you could imagine. Of course I sometimes miss the busy life in city, because I'm the person who needs it from time to time.
For the outfit I chose the pair of colors which are timeless. Black and white, you guessed right!
The blazer (or jacket?) is one of my favorites. It's never hot in it, and I feel good in it whenever I wear it and wherever I go with it. Isn't it perfect?
I have to admit, that I used to think that bloggers said thank you in nearly every other post just to be polite and not to be arrogant. But now I get them. How in the world you can not say thank you in every post you wright here, if people are saying so nice things to you. It's totally flattering and it makes you smile the second you read it. So THANK YOU! ;))

Is it my birthday today? It sure feels like that! Not only school is out for summer (3 months of freedom! yay!), but my blog is progressing! It has been visited 277 times over 2 days, I got 10 comments on my first look ever too!
If you just knew how happy I am right now! Most of experienced bloggers advised to arm with patience, therefore I was preparing for only one visitor per day, if I were lucky enough. But guys, you blew my mind! I'm so grateful for all your kind comments, hypes and hits!
You can be sure that I'm gonna check your blog out too!
If life have taught me anything is that opportunities come once and it's up to us to take them or forever regret letting them go..

Welcome to Lost in Pattern!
There's only few days left until summer (actually one), so i figured out, that this would be the best time for me to fulfill a dream of mine - writing a blog. Why the best time? Because I feel that now I'm enough acquainted with the blogosphere, there's a beautiful season ahead and I'm only 17 (so far, the best age of my life!). So why not?
At this first post I will leave you with photoshoot that took place in one of the most beautiful cities in Latvia - Sigulda. Thats actually a place where I spend most of my time.
Let the games begin!
